The town of Plau am See, which also gave its name to the Plauer See, serves as an entrance to the Mecklenburg Lake District, the largest coherent lake region in Germany.
Situated on the Müritz- Elde- Waterway, the town captivates with its charming historic centre and cultivated hospitality.
The term “Summer Retreat" has already been used for a long time to refer to a trip to Mecklenburg. A holiday on the Plauer See is not only refreshing because of the water and ample possibilities to enjoy an active life.

Use the opportunity to do any kind of water sports you like. The bathing sites can be reached within approx.. 10 minutes by bike. Or you can hike in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern’s beautiful landscape and visit interesting sights around Plau am See.
